Chance: Before You Met1.6 - App Store

What if you'd already met? Before you actually met.

Chance scans your photo library and pairs you with a friends and partners to reveal every time you were almost in the same place at the same time. Sometimes years before you ever said hello.

Same hour. Same spot. Maybe it was fate.

DISCOVER YOUR CROSSED PATHS
Pair with someone you know (or someone you've just met), and Chance compares the time-and-place data inside your photos. Every moment your timelines almost touched becomes a "Path Crossed" - pinned on a shared map of cities you both walked through, sometimes by minutes, sometimes by days.

FATE ANALYTICS
The closer the moment, the higher it ranks. Chance scores every near-miss across four tiers:
. Same Hour - you were within an hour of each other
. Closest in Time - your nearest miss, down to the minute
. Closest in Distance - sometimes only feet apart

A MAP OF THE LIFE YOU ALMOST SHARED
See every Paris café you both wandered through, the Rome plaza you crossed five minutes apart, the same Barcelona beach on the same August afternoon. Chance turns your two photo libraries into one shared map of all the moments you didn't know you had in common.

FOR FRIENDS, FOR COUPLES, FOR THE "WAIT, WHAT?"
Chance isn't a dating app. It's for people who already mean something to each other:
. Couples wondering if the universe was setting them up all along
. Best friends discovering they grew up two streets apart
. Old college groups uncovering the parties they were both at
. Long-distance pairs finding the cities they'd both visited

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your photos are yours. Always.
. All photo data is analyzed on-device and your library never leaves your phone
. Only the small set of crossed-path matches is shared, end-to-end encrypted, with the friend you've paired with
. Pairing requires a verification code, so no stranger can ever see your data
. No social feed, no public profiles, no "Discover" tab. Just you and the people you choose

HOW IT WORKS

Open Chance and grant photo access (we only read time and location metadata).
Send a verification code to a friend, partner, or someone you'd love to compare paths with.
Once they pair back, Chance quietly compares your timelines.
Watch your Paths Crossed appear - sorted by closeness, mapped by city, and surfaced one moment at a time.

FATE STATS WE'LL SHOW YOU
. First Crossed Paths
. Closest in Time
. Closest in Distance
. Farthest from Home
. Top Common Ground

Maybe it was nothing. Maybe it was fate.
Either way, you'll know.
Pair up. Look back. Discover how close you really were.
